Perché Oro Lusso
Because the difference is measurable — and tasteable.
Anyone can print Italy on a label. We would rather prove it — in the paperwork, in the freight, and above all in the pan.
Trust in food is earned twice — once on paper, once on the palate. Seven commitments carry our name across both, and none of them survives a single shortcut.

I Pilastri
Seven pillars, no exceptions.

- 01
Authentic Italian products
Everything we carry is made in Italy, by Italians, the way it has always been made. No adapted recipes, no regional imitations — the same product an exacting household in Verona would put in its own basket.
- 02
Premium ingredients
Superfino-grade rice, early-harvest oil, whole peeled plum tomatoes in their own passata. Within every category we buy the top of the craft, because the difference survives all the way to the plate.
- 03
Imported directly from Italy
We buy at origin, from the producer, and ship under our own name. No consolidators, no grey channels, no mystery between the farm gate and the Delhi warehouse.
- 04
Trusted sourcing
Every producer is visited, tasted and documented before a single case is ordered. Retained origin samples and lot-level traceability mean each arrival is checked against the thing we fell for in Italy.
- 05
Restaurant quality
Hotel banquets and thirty-two-seat tasting rooms cook on the same cases we sell at retail. When a pantry must behave identically across two hundred covers, it has already passed the hardest exam there is.
- 06
Craftsmanship
Bronze dies, slow drying, cask ageing, hand harvest — we choose producers who keep the slow way not out of nostalgia, but because it is the only way the result tastes like itself.
- 07
Curated excellence
The collection is small on purpose. Each category holds one answer — the one we would serve at our own table — so choosing Oro Lusso is never a gamble, only a shortcut to the right decision.
Il Rifiuto
What we refuse.
A standard is defined as much by its refusals as its choices. These are the compromises the fine-food trade quietly accepts — and we do not.
— No blends passed off as single origin
If the label says Po Valley, every grain grew there. We decline the quiet industry habit of stretching a good name with a cheaper harvest.
— No synthetic truffle aroma
2,4-dithiapentane never enters our jars. Real Tuber aestivum, visible in the glass — or no truffle collection at all.
— No shortcuts in transit
No unmonitored containers, no ambient summers at port, no repacking between origin and shelf. The journey is part of the product, and we refuse to let it undo the producer’s work.
— No shelf we cannot stand behind
We would rather be absent from a city than present in the wrong store. Distribution is declined more often than it is granted.
Le Voci
The people who tasted the difference.
“The first Arborio in India I trust across a two-hundred-cover banquet. It behaves identically, case after case.”
